I have £100 to the charity of your choice that says the Tories will provide the PM after the 2024 election. Have you got the guts to back your own rhetoric?

Behaving like a bully doesn't get you extra points - rather the opposite.
Maybe Gulliver hasn't got the disposable income you have Tora. I know I'd think twice before making a ton bet. Especially one which is a massive long shot.
It would safer Taking a bet with Owen Paterson than with TGT.

mozz: "Maybe Gulliver hasn't got the disposable income you have Tora. I know I'd think twice before making a ton bet. Especially one which is a massive long shot. " - well yes but if you are sure of your own opinion then it's an easy ton. Not taking it just means he doesn't have any confidence in his own opinion. That's how you call out paper tigers mozz, ask them to back themselves, they hardly ever do.
not everyone likes betting on things tora
18:27, I like ttt... but that's exactly the word that comes to my mind, when ttt consistently bullies gully for links, already knowing that he doesn't/ won't.

it's about backing your own view untitled. Clearly gully does not or he'd pick up an easy hundred for his charity.
Maybe he can't afford £100 for charity. Try some talking instead.... I think you are right. But also, 2024 is a long time away, everyone will have forgotten by then.

why don't you go down to the bookie's and put the money down with the advantage of the odds to play with.....I did this on a spread bet with Mikey when Cameron won by 12 seats, a ten pound note down on 11-15 seats and exited with £150.....and one pishhed off Mikey (who I bought a pint for when he was next down, the watering hole now closed, one that Boaty has been to, as well).

pixie: "Maybe he can't afford £100 for charity." - but if he was confident in his view he'd win! so clearly he thinks his own view is BS.
" Try some talking instead.... " - when has gully ever discussed or debated anything? You sometimes have to fight fire with fire.
Question Author
DTC: "why don't you go down to the bookie's and put the money down with the advantage of the odds to play with." - because this is not an exercise in gambling it's designed to demonstrate that Gully does not even believe his own opinion. I think it has shown that successfully.
yes tora you're a real saint... i'm sure the angels are smiling down on your crusade against a user called gulliver... his holiness toratoratora would never do anything like this in the interests of his massive ego...

if you have nothing else to do with your time or (apparently considerable!) money then that is extremely sad

£100 is not a lot, I was actually thinking of a bag of sand but thought the £100 was sensible.
Tora- //gully is the bully//

You're as bad as each other. You both mock and belittle people who disagree with you. The only difference is he'll does it because he refuses to debate, you do it when you've failed to persuade someone you're right.
TORATORATORA, you've made your point, GULLY's not interested so stop badgering him.
TTT , There is no need to go to the surgery these days , you can get a repeat prescription over the phone or even on line when you run out of medicine.ok.
What you both are is attention seekers, in that respect you are quite alike.
Ttt, you fight fire with water....
Either he will win, and gain nothing, or lose, and lose £100. No idea of his finances, but seems a lot to me, for no benefit.
£100 is a lot to many folk who exist on their pensions - hence my way of cutting the cost but maintaining the fun of the challenge. If you think a ton is not a lot, I'll call you a b-capitalist, you won't need Gully to do that.
