Can someone, please, explain to me how Enron failed and what the fraud was. I just need a short answer because the Wiki page has too many details and I found it confusing.

Thanks, there were so many people involved I am surprised that their financial mismanagement lasted so long. Surely there were some honest people involved, potential whistleblowers.

I still couldn't explain what happened to another person which usually mean that I haven't fully grasped the full story. But I know more than I did this morning.
