(I can't seem to find an exact figure for what is probably seen as 'commercially sensitive' information). That's roughly 0.1% of their annual licence income which is being used to house 1200 BBC staff and provide production facilities for much of the BBC's output across both radio and television.
However
(a) the BBC negotiated a deal which gives them the first three years of their 20-year lease period free ; and
(b) the BBC will have benefited from the sale of the previous HQ of BBC Wales, which was in Llandaff.
That doesn't seem to be too bad an arrangement, for one of the world's 'top three' broadcasters, to me.

Another attack on the BBC's spending of the public's money - from a budget which is far tighter than the commercial channels whose funds also come from Joe Public.
What annoys the Righties is that the BBC is the only large media outlet not yet in the pocket of the Rich (but the Tories are working on it).
