And not Virgin.
I've been with them for years...mostly fine except for price rises. But outages this year are increasing. Connection lost late Wednesday, back on yesterday lunchtime. Off again last night and still off. Problems throughout this area apparently.

Mind what you do Pasta. Friend has laryngitis over screaming (she's mad) at Sky, BT, back to Sky (I thought she was with Virgin) - who didn't provide her with 3 phones? Got a deal and because of this to-ing and fro-ing - I don't know who the hell she is with but I do think she went back to BT.
However when you ring her - you get a lady voicemail coming on saying something then immediately another lady coming - OMG
She also had a fella come to the house and do "things" with an outside line for 3 and half hours to get her connected. I personally don't think things are right.
I'm with BT and they are a bit on the expensive side but I will stay with them always as when I got TalkTalk once upon a time - all hell broke loose. Line wouldn't work, I have flashing lights courtesy of RNID ( they were flashing every second instead of just coming on when the phone rang which meant the wee bulb burnt out.
As somebody said earlier on, BT own all the lines. You need to know what to do to get it right.
Friend rang me last Monday and I didn't recognise her mobile - she said BT (I think) allow her 500 minutes to make calls from landline and so she is now going to use her mobile phone.
Now she tells me - very weakly - I have a very weak voice - I said no bloody wonder - the screaming you do. LOL
