I just don't like loud men who continuously muck about. I like the mysterious, quiet intriguing type!! ;0)
Born in Farnworth like Peter Kay.
Wonder if some people have difficulty understanding his accent.
I don't have difficulty with either but then I am from the North.
I don't care what accents they have as long as they are not loud and annoying!!
I've never been to Manchester.
Most Boltonians are born in Farnworth, that's where our Hospital is - it's in the Borough of Bolton.
When I got married, (1968) hubby and I went to look at some new builds in Farnworth but we ended up moving down south for a few years instead.
I didn't think I had a Manc accent, but a lot of people seemed to be fascinated by the way I spoke!
That was probably because I pronounced words properly and didn't put an r in where there wasn't one.
Or use an A for a U either then, Barsel ;-)
I know! What time's the next bas! What, do you mean bus?
Just going for my barth! No, you're going for a bath! Lol
Hope none of the southerners see this, could start a war. :-)
I get the best laughs when I say Book or Cook. ;-)
Did you not have any bread and batter then, Barsel.
Book or Cook. ;-)

LOL, could be worse, Mamya.
Mamya I used to always say book, look, cook, and hubby hated it and eventually I gave in and must admit I now say buck, luck and cuck.
Oh yes Tony. Lots of batter on you toast.
Like the lancs accent but it's not as good as a Yorkshire one.
Boo Hiss ^^^ :-)
Lancashire.
