I Need Help In Picking A New Laptop
3 Answers
I have a laptop that I use in my home office and a chromebook that I watch YouTube videos etc on. Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation This is my Laptop. I am very happy with it.
I also want another cheaper Windows 10 laptop for using elsewhere in the flat - on the second floor. There are too many online with too many options and specifications.
Less than £200 if possible.
I need the laptop to have at least two USB ports and be lightweight. I am willing to buy a refurbished one.
Can someone hep? My brother usually picks my computers f or me but I can't get in touch with him.

I've bought loads of stuff from AC Computer Warehouse, both for myself and on behalf of others, and have never had a complaint. (Indeed, I regard the company as one of the very best in their field. The quality of their products, and of their service, has always been first class). Further, several other ABers have purchased from there too, again with nothing but praise for the firm. They're currently offering this refurbished (well-reviewed) HP laptop for £199, with free carriage, that appears to fit the bill perfectly:

Thank you,. It is just me being lazy, I don't need another Laptop, but I want one.
Another question:-
I was speaking to my brother on the phone last night and there appeared to be a time lag between each of us talking and the other hearing the words.
I was on my home phone in Perth and he was using his mobile in Nottingham. It has been happening for a few weeks now.
Is England now in a different time zone?
It is his 54th birthday tomorrow, he will get his birthday wishes on AB (Andrew1707). :-)
Thanks!

The time lag suggests that (at least) one of you is using a VOIP (voice over internet protocol) service, such as Skype.
Alternatively, one of you could be using a landline service that routes some, or all, calls over the internet. As that will be happening to all landline calls by 2025 (with the existing landline 'PSTN' network being switched off), it should come as no great surprise really:
