Elton John Song On Parky

Last night on Parky, Elton John sand a song called Tinderbox. I know he wrote it, but I'm sure I've heard it somewhere before. Either by another artist, or in a different context. It just seemed very familiar. Any ideas?

Bernie Taupin wrote it - he writes a lot of Elton John's songs.

It's first appearance is on Elton's latest album, Captain and the Kid.

It is more accurate to say Bernie Taupin wrote the lyrics and Elton wrote the melody, a songwriting partnership which has existed for nearly 40 years.
