Xmas Present - Shall I Pay For It??(Covid Rules) Or Rethink!?
15 Answers
Middle son/gf are absolutely mad about their two little dogs- they have two pugs lol.
Son & gf are also v hard to think up Xmas ideas for, but a while ago I found a company that did nights/weekend hotel stays specifically for people who love their dogs. They are basically dog friendly, so you can take your 4 legged friend, and then they have loads of local walks you can take them on etc.
I know son & gf would love this, but with the ever changing rule situation what do you think?? I was actually going to pay for it a fortnight ago but waited. I have spoken to the hotel/s in mind and they are all still open and taking bookings but even so…….
Bad idea??

The voucher is good for 12 months, they book the place themselves as and when they want it, all we’ve done is bought the voucher and will give it to them on Christmas Day.
I would have thought that at some point before the 12 months is up, they (and your son) would be able to use it.

We’re just back from a dog friendly cottage in the Borders on Scotland. It wasn’t the best one we’ve ever stayed in but was adequate for our needs.
Must admit, the first time we booked a dog friendly place I did wonder what it would be like, was very pleasantly surprised though, it was of a higher standard than many a non dog friendly one.
We have another booked on the welsh coast in February. The beaches are open to dogs then so our dog will thoroughly enjoy himself having a swim.
