What are your favourite Christmas films? I`m a bit tired of Love Actually if I`m honest. I like Planes Trains and Automobiles among others

Or there is a scene in "The Victors" where the troop are made to witness the execution by firing squad of a deserter and the soundtrack plays "Have yourself a merry little Christmas".

Christmas is an annoying time that entices all to waste their hard earned cash on tat to dump on their loved ones.

they are having a very tough time of it here 1ozzy. retail is going through the floor.
I too thought I was tired of Love Actually, but I watched it AGAIN
yesterday, it's such a feel good film and I never tire of that iconic moment when Emma Thompson opens her Christmas gift and it's not the necklace she thought it was.

I like National Lampoon's Christmas film as well.
Also my favourite Scrooge film with George C Scott in the lead role.
it's a tradition for me to watch muppet's christmas carol each christmas eve

I used to watch it on channel 4, but when they stopped showing it I just got the dvd

also like polar express and christmas bunny

mistletoe over manhattan

home alone (the one in new york)
Not really a Christmas film fan, so I will look out for any newish ones that I missed when they came out. I think it's because I don't understand sentimentality.

That's such an awful moment, Shirley. Ouch!
I love the National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Scrooged, Mary Poppins and My Fair Lady. I realise the last two aren't actually Christmas movies but they're always on over Christmas and I never miss them!
