In this case there were two contestants left .
One had 40k in his cash builder

She chose not to accept the minus figure of 6k and got knocked out by the chaser , leaving the fella on his own .

Surely 6k off the 40 odd k was the route to go , leaving a better chance of having two in the final chase

I don't understand the answer to one of the questions. Can someone explain please? The question was which battle was not fought in mainland Europe so I thought it meant the answer would be a sea battle. Anyway, the answer was Culloden which, to my way of thinking, was fought on the mainland. Please put me out of my misery. I feel really dim!!!!

The forces of Prince Charles Edward Stuart, attempting to reclaim the throne for his family, met a British army led by the Duke of Cumberland, son of the Hanoverian King George II.

Kustard, the British Isles aren't on mainland Europe. That would be France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Hungary ... and all the other countries that physically border them geographically.

The UK is in Europe but as it's surrounded by the sea, it's not part of mainland Europe.

The Isle of Skye is part of Scotland but not part of mainland Scotland.

You'll often see a wee note on websites informing folk that deliveries are made only to mainland UK addresses so not to any of the islands.
