Keeping relationship alive?
5 Answers
Don't know if i've posted this in the right section. Anyway, I've been with my boyfriend for months and you know what it's like at the beginning? The honeymoon period where it's fresh and exciting, sex, talking etc etc. But now I think the honeymoon period is coming to an end and becoming pretty "normal" and I'm worried that we will get bored of the "normal". What can I do to keep it fresh and exciting and keep ourselves interested in eachother? We've never had any arguments, no problems with eachother etc. Oh, and please don't be nasty. Thanks

Talk about it, maybe play some games eg...
i) Make cards with things you'd love to have done to you/for you on them and maybe pick one each a week and do it.
ii) Take it in turns to ask a question... even write a series of questions for it like
"I'd love it if you did this..."
"I'd love it if we did more..."
"my favourite things about you are..."
"my best memory of us is..."
"i love it when you..."
"i love your..."
"when you kiss me I..."
"when you do...it really turns me on..."
"my favourite part of my body to be kissed/stroked etc... is..."
"I'd love it if you dressed up as a..."
"My secret fantasy involving you is..." (not for the fainthearted or easily shockable this one!
"I love watching you when you..."
"you make me laugh when..."
"i fell for you when..."
"you drive me crazy when you..."
You can put the more general questions in loads of time.
iii) Send each other saucy texts throughout the day.
iv) Buy each other little gifts eg a pair of fluffy handcuffs, silk scarf, feather boa (lovely to trace across someone's body), chocolate body paint, sexy underwear, tingly lubricants.
v) Check out local adult shops together, or magazines if you're shy and see what may help you have fun together.
vi) Make a meal you can feed each other (or eat off each other)...eg strawberries, squirty cream....
vii) Get away for a naughty weekend.
Can make it as sweet or...not...as you like ;) whoever picks has to answer it, you never know what you may find out...
Good luck ;) xxx

Go away for a few days and see some of your friends or go on a girly night out without him...absence could make the heart grow fonder and you'll realise how much you've missed him (if at all- in this case you have to ask youself if this is going to last.). When I've spent time away from my partner it always makes it feel special when we see eachother again! It's good to have a bit of breathing space too, recapturing who you are as an individual and asserting yourself- this can boost your confidence leading to a better relationship (when you feel good about yourself you can feel good about others too). The advice above is brilliant too! Try everything...you've got nothing to lose. If you try all these things and the spark is gone then you may have to review your relationship. Good luck! :)
