Covid 19 Self Test Packs

My daughter informed me she has tested positive for covid and suggested I should get tested too. This I have done and happily my test is negative.
My question is, The self test pack I was given has seven tests in it so, when do I use the other six?
Sorry if this is a stupid question but the booklet says nothing about it.

The government have urged people to do home tests twice weekly. They can also be used to get into venues that require a negative lft. Or some people use them before gatherings to reduce everybody's risk of spreading covid

I've been following Government advice, and using lateral flow tests twice weekly, since April. If you've not been doing so up until now, ImLostAgain, it would seem to be a good time to start. (Obviously though, do a test straight away if you think that you've got Covid symptoms).

Use one prior to any social event too
Office or house party or pub meal etc
