American Public Toilets
Ok I've just come back from Tampa, Fl which was in fact my 6th visit to the States in the past 3 years, and I'm sorry but I have no speak up. Has anyone else noticed that in every single public restroom (female at least however I hear that the gents are the same) there's a gap around all edges of the cubicle door so that anyone walking past can look in and see what you're doing without using too much imagination?? I'm not a prude just completely perplexed at this...... Is it just me??

Some places the gap was reeeally bad. I usually went in the disable toilets where the toilet wasn't in full view!
Oh and another thing, I (along with the rest of my family) am tall, and I noticed that the cubicle walls are not very high. So that me and my sister could see each other in neighbouring cubicles!
