Jab Reaction + Hangover

Equals very miserable daughter. She had her booster...finally...yesterday. Aches and pains kicked in at 4am after much booze. She's suffering.

Lots of fluids and some paracetamol will help. Hope she feels better soon.

I think a lot of people are having side effects with the booster, especially the younger folk. My daughter was ill for a couple of days.

It's probably the cross reaction of alcohol and the jab. I didn't think you were supposed to mix the two, but then it's NYE and it would be insubordinate not to have a few drinks and say good riddance to a year like 2021.

Not me for the booster I'm afraid - after absolutely no reaction to the first and second jabs (A/Z), or the flu jab, I've had a very painful shoulder since I had the booster (Pfizer) 4 days ago.

If it was only a sore shoulder she'd be fine. Unfortunately it's aches and pains, fatigue...the lot. She had the same strong reaction with her first AZ jab.

The booster absolutely floored the missus. Says she doesn't think she could handle another injection and who can blame (well other than the covid jab gestapo)

My sore shoulder lasted 6 days after Pfizer booster. No problems with 2 AZ jabs

You are not supposed to drink alcohol after having injections because it stops the vaccines from working properly at least 48 hours is how long you have to wait drinking alcohol my doctor told me.

I heard the same back when I had my first vaccine. But tell someone that on New Year's eve. Not sure how true it is.
