You'll find a wealth of info at www.businesslink.gov.uk
depending n where youare in the country there are usually government backed courses. In Norfolk we have www.neatbusiness.co.uk which is part of the Chamber of Commerce and wwwnwes.org.uk - another company which run courses on how to run businesses.

You can also try www.startups.co.uk and if you want a business plan template, pop into NatWest - they will give you one free.
If you contact your local council they will probably have an enterprise council - these run free business start up training courses. Although it seems that some of these are being closed in favour of business link, which tends to be more of a Multi level marketing excercise than useful to start ups
