I have always used washing tabs and put them in the drum under the clothes in my Hoover washing machine with no problems. I recently replaced the machine with a Bosch and, wherever I put the tabs, the minute the machine starts to fill it spits the tab on to the door seal. I have read the instructions and, although they tell you all about powder and liquid, there is no mention of tabs. Does this mean the machine is not compatible? Any advice please?

I have put them everywhere Mallyh. At the front at the back in the middle of the washing with no joy!!! I will try another type. Also thanks Bobbin but my washing machine is too big to put in a sock LOL
^We've never used tablets or pods...you can't dose with a more appropriate amount (it's either one, two - or, three).
Another disadvantage with tablets (and some powders) is that they don't always dissolve properly, leaving undissolved particles on clothes etc.
Never had any problems of not dissolving at all Ginge. I might go along with you and change to liquid Barry. Had already thought of that but have got two boxes of pods and must use them up because I am incredibly mean!!!!
Ive been using pods for ages and I do a lot of washing. Ive never had a problem ever with pods not dissolving.Have you got your machine set to a hot enough temperature?
