Ehrman Tapestry Kit

I am trying to get a patterned canvas only for an Ehrman tapestry kits as after buying two similar kits l have loads of wool over probably sufficient to do another cushion. I have contacted Ehrman but they only sell the complete kits including canvas and wool and not the patterned canvas on its own. Also does anyone know if it possible to make a copy of an existing patterned canvas onto a new black piece of canvas?

There are companies that will print on canvas, but it is not cheap.

There is also the copyright issue.

There is a technique called, "pouncing" where a traced copy of a design is pricked with holes.

The copy is put on the new material and powder, such as chalk, is dabbed on the lines so that wee spots show up as dots on the new material after the tracing is removed.

It's not high-tech and it might take a fair time if the design is intricate but it's been used for yonks.

Does it have to be Ehrman? You can buy canvas only with printed designs, you just need to decide on wool colours for yourself. Here for example.
