Isle of Wight recommendations please!

Hi I'm planning a trip to Wight in a couple of weeks. What's the best area to stay at if I want a chilled out, pretty, scenic, quaint, beach resort-type, few days? Can anyone recommend some good hotels/B&Bs (3-5 star) preferably overlooking the sea. Thank you.
