Age Puzzle

Can someone please tell me why the answer to this puzzle is 49:

Aunt Tabitha is 35 years old not not counting Saturdays or Sundays.

How old is she really?

5x7=35 (5 days is Mon-Fri)

7x7=49 (7 days if Sat/Sun added.)

49 years has 17836 days in it

without the weekends (5096 days)

You get 12740 days

divide that by 364 (days in year) and you get 35

Because we are not counting saturdays and sundays there are only 5 days in each of her weeks - there is of course 7 days in each week. So if we divide the 35 by the 5 days and then multiply by the 7 days what do we have?

Cheers Guys thanks alot, that really helped me out, I'm from the UK. I kept going a long way around the answer based on the amount of weekends in 1 year and then multiplying it by 35. You all made it see so simple.

(49x52)x2 = 5096. 5096 divided by 364 = 14 , 49 -14 = 35

ratio, age : real age = weekdays: real weekdays
35:x=5:7
35*5=7
so,7*7=x=49
