When we moved here we brought masses of plants from our garden in the Cotswolds, but virtually everything died.
It may be cold at night in the UK, but it generally rises above freezing during the day, thanks to the gulf stream. Here we have long hot summers, but it can stay at, or below, freezing for 24/7 in the winter, not many English garden plants can survive that.

Morning all. Not much except honeysuckle and sheltered azalea out in the garden but more sheltered gardens in village have daffs, snowdrops and camelias braving the weather. Hope we don't have any frost now.
