Little Tigs had a 38.5 temperature last and tested positive for covid this morning. Did a test for him yesterday and it was negative so thought it was something else.

Anyway, he can't go to school for the rest of the week so will be isolating at home. I need to pop to the pharmacy to pick up another pack of tests for me as I'm currently negative but have had a sore throat since Monday. Only got 1 left in pack.

Can I go out with my mask on and do you think at age 11 (12 in May) it's ok to leave him at home on his own? When I was his age I was always left at home but that was 40 years ago. Just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing as I've not left him home alone before.

Thanks all xx

He only had a temperature last night but other than a blocked nose and a mild headache he is fine now. I've rubbed some carvol on him.

He hasn't had any jabs but I did get a letter from the NHS on Monday saying that 5 to 11s are now eligible and my surgery would be in touch for an appointment.
Is he healthy normally?

My brother and family all had COVID near the beginning and none of them were really ill. I hope wee tiggs is the same.

Yep, he's generally a healthy child, Wolf. He seems to be over the worst and just has a blocked nose at the moment.
