Hoover Washing M/c Vibration?

My 3 year old Hoover HQ 130 washing machine vibrates heavily ONLY on very high spin as if it is a balance problem, (not overloaded).
I have removed the two dampers and slightly pressed the metal sides to stiffen the suspension. I have also added a spring to each of the suspension springs to stiffen these.
This makes no difference.
Hoover want �89.23p for a call out which I am not prepared to pay for on my disability money.
Any suggestions where to look next?

I wouldn't know how to solve your problem without looking, but I've fixed 2 washing machines by making sure they were completely on the level, and not touching anything. You have to use a spirit level, and you may have to prop up a back foot, or both... it's really important your machine is completely level or it will go all over the place when spinning - I had a machine that tried to cross the kitchen floor while on full spin, but levelling it stopped this happening.... It's worth a try!

My old man pushed a paper back book between the washer and the worktop, it worked. After reading what youv`e done I`m pleased it did ,I`d have had no washer left with him.

Make it level and leave a gap down the sides between it and what it sits between. You can usually level it off with its little feet on the bottom front edge.
