im currently getting divorced and im planning to buy a house with my girlfriend, im in full time employment and she is registered disabled and the dss pay her rent currently where she lives. would it be possible to get a joint mortgage using both our incomes?

Yes but it would not include the rent because they will not pay it in the new house. Your income and any benefits she gets can be taken into account by some lenders.

yes, but what i meant was would lenders be frightened off by the fact we are both divorced and she is claiming disability?
If what you want to borrow fits with the lender's multiple of your income I don't think there'll be a problem unless of course there is a credit history issue.
