Think I may have mentioned this afore .Why do the Dragons have the piles of either fake or real money beside them .Its not as if they will give it to the people who pitch for funding .Contracts would have to be signed by the people entering business partnership .So why , is it the old Harry Enfield line Loads of Money . might have to stop watching the show if it continues .

Of course but why .I think we all know what money looks like .Don’t think it would look good if the The Chase ,Pointless had money on their desk .Impossible has it acause it’s to show what 10,000 or so pound coins look like which I’m sure we could imagine .

It's because television is "visual"...people need something to look at to help them along. Why else would you have gas burners on news programmes when discussing gas prices, or running taps when there's a water supply problem?
It's just some nonsense to look at.

The dragons have all made lots of money so we have money on show . If it was farmers as dragons would there be lots of sheep and cattle . Bales of hay and straw ?
