Help would be appreciated for the parsing of 30A: "Pearl oyster has born? Could be this stone, yes?" From the crossers it must be HARBOR (the pearl). If the letters of " stone, yes" are taken from "oyster has borne" the letters of "harbor" remain, but I cannot see how the instructions for the subtraction are indicated in the wordplay.

"Could be" is indicating that "oyster has born" is an anagram of "harbor" (this, the answer) and "stone yes"
