Another minor tremor from the Dudley fault.... Only 2.8 at 11 pm surprised anyone noticed. Still nothing much happens in the Black Country.

Haven't seen Tony since the earth moved for him though?
I never felt a thing, Rowan. We did have one back in Spain though when I lived there. The whole villa shook violently.
It might just have been a few families shivering in their clogs.
I'm waiting for an earthquake at The Hawthorns. They need a good shake up.

I wonder if it was a stampede ,an all night greggs had bogoff on steak bakes
Walsall, things have improved not worsened.
I was in the epicenter, I felt it and heard it. Sounded like a big lorry going over speed bumps at speed and a quick shake it lasted about 2 seconds.

How would someone with a monica like youngmafbog know.

I even slept through the bigger one about 20 odd years ago, it was strong enough to bounce my friends mum out of bed and for ornaments to come off shelves me, I stayed oblivious It was 4.3 on the RS, really p'd off as I am fascinated by things like Earthquakes, tsunamis etc. I also missed a tornado that hit selly oak and was apparently clearly visible ... I think I need a holiday in the ring of fire

I remember that one, I thought the radiator in the bedroom was coming off the wall ( the earth shook that night ).
May have been the same one during which I impressed the late MrG, Rowan.
Our old house had a sloping bedroom. Earthquake woke me to see the lamp on the dresser was jumping along to the edge. I dived sideways out of bed...imagine Joe Root making an amazing catch...and caught the lamp..... :-)

I used to live right next to Kings Norton Station, we had a lot of heavy goods trains taking stuff to Longbridge, I guess my subconscious registered it as just another train
I once had a boyfriend who, on his travels, was sitting on the loo when a big earthquake struck. He went out the window, trouserless.
Interesting enough the first time he told the tale but after three of four times of hearing it he had to go.
