This is a very quiet, reasoned and moving speech - in stark contrast to the megalomaniac rantings from Putin. Overtaken by the events of the last two days, but worth nine minutes of your time :

A Jewish “Nazi” according to Russia.

Last night when Europe’s leaders were queuing to speak to him, he learned that Mario Draghi of Italy was miffed that Zelensky was u/a.
He later tweeted: “Sorry. I had things to deal with. Next time I’ll get them to reschedule their missiles to fit his schedule”

Or words to that effect.

This man has balls of steel. We need leaders like him, willing to fight side by side, in Western countries. Puts our partying, petty bickering senile leaders to shame.

Powerful, measured & calm. It's to be hoped that enough Russians see it, because it'll take a Russian to stop this atrocity from continuing.

Anybody equating the brave protests in Russian streets with the useless, self-serving winkers (sp) who snarled up Canada will get pretty short shrift from me.

One lot are risking life and limb to oppose a megalomaniacal tyrant- the others are sat in warm cabs standing up for their right to be ***.

Funnily enough, on Friday night Stormont in Belfast lit up
in blue in solidarity with Ukraine (the yellow too would have been nice but never mind)
There was a woman on Belfast Live (with a “Don’t Vaccinate our Kids” avatar) furious that they’d not done the same for the Canadian truckers.
