What would you get them to do?? This chat came up with Mr Smow as he genuinely offered it to help me whilst in my incapacitated state, bless him. Am not going to, but if I did I guess mine would be a combination of ironing, changing beds, and prepping dinner if poss.
Anything specific you’d love help with??

Trying to think what I'd like help with, Smow, when Dave said that when he had a cleaner he spent hours the day before tidying and cleaning before she came.
Wow! I thought....you tidied and cleaned! Well I never! So I've told him we have a cleaner coming on Friday....just to see what happens tomorrow.... :-)

daily, probably fill/empty dishwasher
get rid of bloody toothpaste round the sink as everyone else seems to have problems doing it themselves!
sweep the mud off the floors (pets) and wipe down the sofas (pets)

Have to admit I have a multi purpose cleaner for 2 to 3 hours twice a week depending on her family commitments. I strip the beds and wash the bed linens, she hangs them outside, two doubles and two singles. I iron the pillow cases. She hoovers, dusts and cleans bathrooms. Finishes any dishes that are in the sink and puts away. Does windows monthly in rotation. Her salary is euros 7.50 an hour as she does not declare this.

Definitely windows + mirrored doors in bedroom (what possessed me!!)
