Do you live in S.O.T. PP?
Tilly, I just noticed that the time of my post regarding the Titanic was 1912, the year of its sinking...What a coincidence!

For what it's worth I hate masks and haven't worn one except in times and places where it was compulsory. I too fail to understand why so many people are still wearing them in the street and in shops. If they think it's protecting them they're deluded. I blame "project fear" and the government. Do we wear masks against flu or the common cold? No.
Nailit; I wish you well. Good luck on your journey through life.
Your ability to post in the right place seems as wonky as your reasoning on masks, doddly
Sorry - posted on wrong thread.
Tilly, empty retail premises are everywhere now. We've still got the derelict Debenhams building standing empty, and the premises of an earlier local department store that shut ages ago is now student housing.
^Dingles department store?
I find it interesting that Andy Hughes never responds on these 'S.O.T is a s*&%hole' threads of Nailit's. I wonder why?
Lol...not Dingles...they are still there as House of Fraser. The one I mentioned was Derrys...down at Derrys Cross (of course ;) )

Nice for pensioners though, apparently!

No Hanley left anymore,,,,
Pasta - I haven't been to Plymouth for decades. There was a Dingles in Exeter as well. I`m surprised House of Fraser is still going on the high street, the one in Oxford street was boarded up last time I went past there.
Been to Victoria Park the old Stoke city ground several times, haven't been to their new ground yet though. I've even been to Vale Park once, I place in Stoke that I missed out on though was The Torch ( to young at the time ).
237Sj...it was earmarked for closure, but saved at the last minute. I rarely go in there...not my style ;)
It's a shame. The SW needs all the retail and work it can get.
