Sorry about the late post tonight. I've been catching upon some sleep after not getting much last night, due initially to a slightly queasy tummy but mainly because of two of my cats taking it in turns to wake me up all night long! I hope that there are still a few quizzers around (or that there will be over the weekend, as I always check for latecomers).

Perhaps I should have stayed in bed though, going by my score in the main quiz this week! Just a pathetic TWO out of seven :(

That extra sleep this evening seems to have rejuvenated me though, as I scored a maximum FIVE out of five on the junior quiz! (OK, I admit it. A couple of lucky guesses helped too!)

It was back down to Earth in the Timed Teaser for me though, scoring just THREE out of ten (and one of those was a guess!):

So I can now sit back in the certain knowledge that I'm unbeatable in one quiz this week but that you lot are going to thrash me in the other two!

Thanks Chris. I hope that you're feeling a bit better now. I'm sure that your pets were just checking up on you (and ensuring that they were going to get fed in the morning - I've never seen a cat trying to open a can or food pouch!)

As to the quizzes, obviously there has been too much going on to fully take in some events round the world:

Thank you for your best wishes, Twix.

>>> I've never seen a cat trying to open a can or food pouch

Tablo's a master (or should that be 'mistress'?) at opening the big bags of dried food though. She can have a bowl of the stuff freshly poured out for her but, quite often, she'd rather scratch her way into an unopened bag of the same food. She clearly enjoys a challenge!

Congratulations on joining me as a 'perfect kid' this week - and on beating me in the other two quizzes too ;-)

2,4,4 - not good but at least I knew the answers, guessing not up to standard this week!
I've just seen twix post about cats opening cans and pouches. We had an x stray who could open pouches after a fashion. She stole them, took them into the garden, chewed and perferated the top and got the contents out somehow. We never saw her do it, just found the evidence.
I'm later than you,Chris! This is Saturday morning!

2/7 and 4/5. Everyone of them were guesses. I know nothing!
A piddly 3 in the timed quiz but I think that is a slight improvement on last week's score so happy with that :o)
Sorry I am so late this week.

Well done on your perfect 5/5

As promised, I'm catching up with the latecomers here. (More are still welcome though!):

Well done with your scores, Emmie. They're very impressive on what has definitely turned out to be one of the trickier weeks for the quizzes!

A couple of decent scores, on a hard week there, Roo! Well done!
[That was a proper cat that you had, BTW!]

Welcome to the club, with that 3/10, Tigger ;-)

Well done with that impressive 7/10 (as well as a near-perfect 4/5), Karamia!

Are you, perhaps, from Barcelona, 10CS?

I have no cats so no excuses, other than I need to get out of bed more.

At least you managed to match me on one quiz, Arky, even if you couldn't beat me on any of them (which, given my own lousy scores, I thought was going to be easy for everyone this week!).

Oh well, there's always next week, I suppose ;-)
