My lovely vet just made a house call to vaccinate 7 cats and 4 dogs. Flea and tick treatment for all. Contacted local chemist so daughter could pick up medicine for 1 cat. Also bought 6 month supply of Heartguard for the dogs. Gave 10% discount on all vaccines and meds and no charge for the house call.

You're not in the UK, are you? I'd rather not think what vets here would charge. An amount at least equal to or more than the treatment I'm sure.

11 injections about 25 euros each, 5 Bravecto at about 35 euros each
6 months supply of heartguard euro 125. No too bad and keeps the furries well

Have your animals got fleas and ticks? If not why are you treating them?

We live in Portugal ticks are prevalent here and my land where they roam has scrubland and undergrowth. Tick season is starting now and prevention is better than cure. Leishmaniasis is also endemic here and prevention is cheaper than treatment. The same for heart worm. Yes one cat has fleas and as they all hang out together I treat them all

I treat my dogs regularly. They’ve never had fleas or ticks.
