I have a small two bar electric fire which I have been using a lot this winter. It says 800W on the back so how much an hour is it costing me?

How much is it for one kilowatt hour? I pay a fixed tariff and am on a night and day rate tariff?

The average cost of electricity, prior to the forthcoming raise in the price cap on 1 April, is 18.9p per kWh. Assuming that the 800W figure refers to the total electricity consumption of the heater, rather than for each bar, that makes the hourly cost around 15p.
