I am filling in an application form for a job and one of the questions is - 'Please tell us something about your interests and leisure activities outside work' and i am stuck at what to write.

I spend most of my time outside work sociallising. I don't really have a specific 'hobby', i spend a lot of time with my friends, but if i just put i enjoy spending time with friends it might come accross the wrong way?! I see it as a good point but i am not sure they will? altho it will show i am good with people, which is a plus point for the job?

Any ideas of how to word this on an application form??

Thanx

"socialising" would do, but you could maybe add *what* you do with your friends - do you go to the theatre, concerts, gym etc.? If you do, you could expand on that a bit. "entertaining friends and family" sounds a bit more glam and might give the impression that you host lavish dinner parties!
Or... You could just lie!
Yep - blag a bit. They're never going to know. Try to stick to the distant truth though, because if you say you enjoy climbing mountains and they organise a trip up Ben Nevis you'd be stuffed, lol.
what sort of mags do you buy? you could mention that you enjoy any number of things
As I enjoy "dogging" whenever I can, I would put this on any application form.
