Did you ever have a comic delivered by the newsagent when you were young. If so what one. Mine was the Dandy.

Not a comic, but I did at one time subscribe to "Boys' Own Paper"(BOP). Marvellous publication!
Delivered by a paperboy??
No point! Our papershop was a 3minute walk from our house. I was there every sat morn to buy my spiderman comic!!
I think it was Bunty that had a cut out doll figure on the back page with interchangeable clothes that could be added with the aid of little paper tabs.

Jazzyjen. Yes I remember them well. They had a tab at the bottom to fold back so they would stand up. That was until someone came through the door or opened the window .
Jazzyjen, I had that with "Twinkle", which a great-aunt used to send me. She changed it to Bunty as I got older, which I liked too.
I had Eagle. My wife had Schoolfriend, Girls’ Crystal & Girl.

Forgot the name of the comic my brother had, but for a time they were giving away a plastic rocket that had a steel spring loaded head. You put a cap inside the head and dropped it from the bedroom window onto the concrete slab, and BANG!!!!! :)
I had my first 'win' at the age of 7/8 when I sent a joke into a comic and had it printed. I think it might have been the Beezer and I won £5. I still enjoy receiving cheques from magazines to this day!!
