hellywelly, I might have a look tonight but I may react the same as you did. Too many of these dark dramas with little or no pace, bring back Peter Wimsey and the like ;)

I watched the entire series and enjoyed it. True, you have to be in the mood for a 'plodder' but, as a fan of Morse, Endeavour, Frost, etc, i am quite used to them by now.

Ken. ( or other ) I’d recommend 1) The green book. 2) Manchester by the sea . 3) Boiling Point.

@ 14.36. Both "Manchester by the Sea" and "Green Book" were on BBC4 last Thursday and are on iPlayer for another 27 days.
Both recommended.
