Following on from Gully's question, how many of us actually use the garage for your cars? (If you have a garage.)

I could get the jam jar in the garage but it's full of my other toys!

I posted this on the wrong thread originally!!

Prudie, like you I won't gov in our old garage for fear of what may be lurking. Husband always has loads of projects on go go usually involving engines and machinery and some projects fail but there they stay forever and a day - concrete mixers, log splitters, a ride on lawnmower that hasn't been used for years, some bikes, old furniture and fishing rods. It also has a huge loft space. Another engine is arriving next week to mend the huge industrial shredder.
The UK must be one of the few countries where householders leave their brand new £30k motor out in the street whilst keeping two hundred quid's worth of disused furniture and an old washing machine safely tucked up in the garage. :-)
The garage at my house was converted into a self-contained annex. The previous owner was elderly and sadly passed away not long after it was built. I can fit two cars on my driveway.

Dusty, I've come a long way since my 2-bed terrace with on street parking, in a dodgy area of South London ;o)
two bed terrace? Loooxury!
In the short times I had a garage I only ever kept a motorbike in it.

It's probably a 4 bedder now worth a cool million. (or 3 flats)

/Lottie...are you aware that you posted about garages in the Nectar website thread below this one./

Yes Pasta and somewhere on this thread I mentioned it. I having a really bad day today. Very tired and a lot of pain. Hence all my mistakes on here!!
Our garage is a cart lodge that got enclosed. Unfortunately, the car (Audi A8) is too long for it.

Garage is now a man cave where he can store his lovely garden machines and his manly tools and listen to Rock FM to his heart's content. I go in there in emergency situations only.

All the people here who're saying that there car is too big for their garage should learn a few tips from this Belgian guy ;-)
Yes but that's only a dinky toy innit?! And it only just fits at that!
