new film to be made Help required

my grandson has been picked to audition for a new film being made called combat opera, and the music to it is southern alabama does anyone of you know what this is, as I would like to learn him a few songs for the audition,searched the internet but could not find anything,any help please

As above, you might need to ask for a little bit more clarification. Is it one song - if so it probably is Sweet Home Alabama as quizmonkey says.

If they are talking about a genre, does it say
Southern / Alabama (ie, Southern America or Alabama) or does it say Southern Alabama.

Alabama does have a rich musical history try here:

Although I've never personally heard of 'Southern Alabama' as a specific type of music.

thanks a lot for your answers, I was told that it is an opera type film based something like the jerry springer opera, but hopefully not to controversial, something about the tv shows the dragons den and wife swap, and it was definitly southern alabama?
