Day 1 Or 2?
9 Answers
Yesterday morning I got up feeling like I was full of a cold but felt a bit better as the day went on. The coughing only seemed to last a few hours in the morning.
Today I woke up feeling slightly worse, so did a lateral flow test which showed positive.
I believe the latest rules are there is no need to self isolate but just to stay home for 5 days.
Should I count yesterday as day 1 or today and when should I test again? TIA.

We were all going out for a family meal on Saturday, but my granddaughter has also tested positive today, so that's another event spoilt because of flaming Covid.
It's the first time I've had it, and I wasn't sure what the latest rules are.
I did wonder also if age can make you feel worse than someone much younger.
Hopefully my Granddaughter doesn't feel as yukky as I do.

Yesterday was Day 0 and to-day is Day 1.

Lottie ///Dont forget that vulnerable people or over 75s can carry on getting tests for free.///
I didn't know that.
I've still got 3 or 4 left from when I got some before, so I should be ok.
Pasta, I thought mine was just a bad cold, I was surprised when the 2 lines came up today.
They do say that these lateral flow tests are not 100% accurate so I hope your daughter will be ok.
