I think they are panic attacks maybe?

I don't get panic attacks but I do have periods of intense anxiety with obsessive irrational fears.
Once it starts it has to be dealt with quickly or it gets out of control.
He really should go and see a doctor. My psychiatrist prescribed drugs to help me sleep and this really helps. A bit like restarting a faulty computer.
I am bipolar (manic depression) and find anxiety harder to deal with than depression.
