I've got a packard bell keyboard, and at the top (above all the F keys) there's a row of buttons which do things like control the volume, play music cds etc. One of the buttons automatically launches the internet without me having to clickon anything with the mouse. I just installed a new version of AOL, and now the button doesn't do anything anymore, presumably because it was configured with the old version of AOL. Does anybody know how to make the button work again? It's just really annoying. Thanks.

This may not apply to you but a Compaq laptop I used to have had similar buttons, there was an icon in Control Panel to configure which button to do what. May be worth taking a look.
If you look in Control Panel, you should see a Keyboard icon. In here you should see details of how to change the settings for your 'hot key' or shortcut keys.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I had a look in control panel before i posted the question, and there's nothing in the keyboard icon to configure the buttons. I'm sure it's really simple, but it remains a mystery.
