My Son

my son has had a horrendous couple of weeks, first he found an old lady lying on the ground bleeding from the head he phoned an ambulance and stayed with her with instructions from emergency worker luckily she made a full recovery and her husband went and thanked my son .then his friend called round sons flat and collapsed ,once again he phoned 999 ,his friend was breathing then but stopped breathing when paramedics arrived, after a lot of treatment he died so the police were called and with my sons history took a statement ,his friend wasn't a drug user but an alcholic who has had a lot of fits .my son is trumatised and i'm just hoping and praying it doesn't push him into drugs again as he is doing really well off drugs i've told him to talk to us anytime .

Oh mallya, I’m so sorry your son has been subjected to such trauma (which he doesn’t need).
Does he have a sponsor or someone he trusts that he might talk to and get support ?
I’ll send him good wishes, prayers, and positive thoughts.

he goes to meetings everyday where he can talk ,his friend who died and my son have been friends for many years .

oh dear... hopefully things will settle down ..as long as he has the support he needs and knows you are there..he has come through a lot
