Not really true.
They voted against a hike in national insurance to fund NHS and Social Care. The are in favour of a rise, but not by extra taxes on the poor.

Labour voted against the Government’s ‘Police, Crime and Sentencing Bill’ which is not yet legislation. They originally planned to abstain. But a few days before the vote in the Commons we witness heavy handed Policing at the vigil for Sarah Everard. Many people were shocked at the Police tactics and that led to many Labour MPs not wanting to give the Police further powers at peaceful protests. Labour switched position from abstaining to voting against the bill.

Ironically, it was Labour MPs who had campaigned for tougher sentences for attacking emergency workers, they considered the 2018 change in the law not tough enough.
