Stephen Sackur interviewed Maria Butina the week before.
At least she volunteered “an” opinion, obnoxious as it was. She started by saying that Russia was taking a long time to win the war because it was being very careful to avoid harming civilians.
And it went downhill from there.

We should stop a lot of these interviews.
Not with the likes of the racing driver maybe but with the pro-Kremlin clones.
There was a particularly obnoxious individual on the BBC just. And Sky are interviewing - yet again - Dmitry Peskov.
What’s the point? We know what they are going to say and it’s frankly insulting to peoples intelligence

I watched part of the interview with Dmitry Peskov on Sky yesterday and thought the same. I was dumbfounded as to why they would give him any airtime as they knew what he would come out with being Putin's mouthpiece even when shown images and evidence of some of the things Russia has done. Not only that but the amount of time they gave to him. I turned it off after a short time but then looked in later to find he was still on. Stop giving them airtime.

I’m all for hearing the other side of an argument but in most cases all you get isn’t really a point of view. It’s a shameless doubling down and a parroting of the same nonsense every time.
