Why Such A Pitiful Sentence?
15 Answers
This one is clearly short of a shilling.
'meticulously put together 'murder and torture kit' including 11 bottles of bleach, forensic body suit and a Stanley knife, and wrote 'to-do list' for killing a fling'
And only got 13.5 years. What a joke she is clearly a danger to the public and should never be let out.

She refused to co-operate with a psychiatric evaluation but "The psychiatrist could only say that she did not appear to have any mental health problems, learning difficulties or autism."
Can she be let out again if she simply refuses to co-operate?

Yes, Barry. I'm surprised she confessed to "attempted murder" from a series of notes, that she may never have carried out. Fantasists, authors... probably have worse.
Attempted murder "does" happen, but fails- and thankfully, she was stopped first. But makes what "would have happened next" the biggest question.
Plotting to kill, the injuries she committed... obviously. She did confess though, so not the full shilling, no, unless she scared herself.

ymb, I don't think "planning" is enough, you have to actually attempt it, which she did. There's a disconnect between the manic precision of her planning and what she achieved, which was basically biting his finger. But it's no good wanting a more severe sentence for attempted murder than for one that really happened.
