Mozz, I blame the Sussexes, not the press. A couple of weeks ago a petulant Harry refused to attend his grandfather’s memorial service citing inadequate security (he’s suing the government because they won’t let him hire our police on a private basis). What happened in the past fortnight to improve that inadequate security? Absolutely nothing. Nevertheless he chose to come here this week before going to the Netherlands - and their police aren’t for hire either. Even you, a regular reliable for them, must see the hypocrisy.

The difference between then and now is that was a visit which everyone would've known about, so if anybody was planning anything, they would've known the whereabouts of the royal party, this one was a flying visit which no-one knew about until the (aparently blameless) press reported it.

If by "a regular reliable for them" you mean I'm someone who doesn't have any animosity towards them, then I accept that. I'm not a fan, just not a hater.

All the time they're drawing breath, they're never going to please some people.
