Neighbour's Trampoline Keeps Bashing Against Our Fence Panel
They rent next door and have four kids (we're terraced) and I own our home - they don't. They're quite a rough lot, but it cost me a small fortune to buy a much needed new fence (I had to save) and we got the fence before next door moved in. Trouble is they haven't left any clearance space around the trampoline and when their kids jump on it, our fence panel moves back and forth. We've already had to 'tell them off' for flooding our garden when they irresponsibly emptied their garden swimming pool and also had to tell them not to walk on our flower bed at the front when they step down from their van of an evening. How many more times do we have to reprimand them before they get shirty? I worry about our new fence as it cost so much. Any ideas, please? I'm 78 and just live with my daughter. My daughter says, "Just ignore it. If they damage it, they'll simply have to pay for a new panel". Also, my fence isn't covered in my insurance. Is my daughter right in this?

If you don't want to face them face to face, write a note that says, 'Would it be possible for you to move your trampoline away from my fence please as I feel it may damage it.' Push it through their letterbox.
