how much do you think this would cost? also do you think it would hurt. I really want to get these done but in black though they do look nice in blue.. and i also want a small plain skull & crossbones in between but at the top of my back (so not directly inbetween).
ive never had a tattoo before, but now im 18 i have been thinking about one for quite a while.
i dont want anyone replying telling me not to get it done or that im stupid or that ill regret it please.
many thanks. em x

Seriously though, I would think twice (if it was me) having something so large is an area which can be viewed alot, think strappy tops in summer. You very well could regret it 10,15, 20 years down the line.
I personally think they're tacky (sorry), I would imagine that something so large and intricate would hurt, especially in that area, and it would be quite pricey. I got the teeniest one possible on my shoulder blade, and it cost me 25, so I dread to think how much they'd cost you.

Hi missjef,
the question is it don't matter what other people think, its going to be on "YOUR BODY" not theres. Speaking from exspearence, i have over 40, it bloody hurts, and if this is going to be your first just go for something a little smaller to get the feel of them. well good luck and choose wisely.

I like them, but wouldn't have them myself.
I have a tattoo on my spine between my shoulder blades, I like it to be on show during the summer (strappy tops!) but at work it's a bit of a pain having to keep it covered during the hot months.
I'm sure you've thought long and hard about getting a tattoo, there's no jumping in with both feet and suffering the consequences later!
You do whatever feels right for you be but aware that not everyone likes them, so don't feel bad when someone says something negative, it's just that they wouldn't choose it for themselves!
You're an individual, you don't need approval from others!
