Two posts of mine have disappeared. If you don't want me to post then fair enough you can stick it and I'll go elsewhere.

Well you are here!!! So how can you be banned?
Question Author
Both appeared then disappeared so waiting to see if this one does as well.
Do you mean your questions or your answers on other threads?
You posted on my thread @ 15.31!

Any editors about?
Question Author
ladybirder my replies to other posts seem ok but I've put two posts on that have totally disappeared - nothing controversial only asking why spam messages keep being allowed when they could easily monitor first posts from new members.
Did they say - answer removed - or did they just disappear ?
:Lankeela, if you check your profile you will see that you are active so,no, you are not banned.
Question Author
So where are my two posts regarding spammers?
Which category did you put them in or did you send direct to Ed?
Thread has been removed. If you check your profile, you will see that.
No idea. Why not e- mail the ED and ask if he has removed them?
[email protected].
Lankeela, maybe the tgread was removed because it is against Site Rules to ask why a thread has been removed.
there are some trigger happy mods, if they are on we all struggle.
Question Author
But the actual questions have been removed - why would I ask if something had been removed before it was?
I saw the first question...i think you were only asking why spammers posts weren't being removed.
Maybe a mod misread it. I saw nothing amiss.
I didn't remove your posts (and I've absolutely no idea who has done). My best guess though is that someone either decided that your post was a moan about the moderators (which never goes down well with us!) or that it was simply 'inappropriate for Chatterbank'. I've removed quite a few posts for that second reason recently, including from regular and much-valued members (such as Jennyjoan). However, even though I think that the Ed's Blog might have been a better place for your posts, I wouldn't have zapped them in CB for that reason myself.

We've always had 100+ spam posts per day. If they're staying in 'Latest Posts' for a little bit longer than usual, it just means that there aren't that many moderators around at that particular time.
I'm sure Mods do monitor posts from new members but there isn't always a mod on duty and I sure they don't want to be heavy handed and treat every new member as a spammer.
Just report spam and ignore the posts

Thanks danny, emailed and got a reply saying they would reinstate my post.
