Not a very tempting ITV 7 today with two races from Sandown totalling just 9 runners between them (2.25 and 3.00) and an 18 runner handicap from Limerick where the fav is around 15/8 and the rest 9/1 upwards! As if it wasn't difficult enough!
First leg is the 1.50 San.

Great tale emerged from yesterdays Irish racing when amateur jockey, Simon Condon, won his first race aged 59 after 40 years of riding without a win. I think he was a bit pleased. Also notice that Fahey has got a runner in the 2.05 Haydock. If I am not mistaken this is the horse that won first time out up at Beverley a couple of years back and won again later in that year. He was shipped off to Ireland and was there for about 18 months. Been running in class 1 & 2 races but now looks to be back with Fahey and going handicapping now. I remember he was a big gangly foal and perhaps they have been patient and let him grow into himself. May have to consider him. Summer Sands.
Sorted. Decided that an e/w punt was my best option, and that if that was the case go for a long odds one. Left the Limerick race out of my punt but it is in the little ITV& e/w covers that I do on the Acca and 6 timers. **** E/W Acca TRebles and Doubles. Singles as and when they line up. Good Luck to all.

Afternoon, Togo. Summer Sands was actually returned to the Fahey yard last year and ran in a couple of handicaps (class 2 and 3) without showing a great deal. I've left it alone today, mainly because the yard has yet to hit true form (had a winner yesterday) and it doesn't tick many of the stats boxes. Cue a 5l win @ 16s :-))
Decided i have much better things to do with my time than try and decipher which of two jt favs in a 4 horse race will come out best, and whether or not a hot fav (Navagio) can justify the hype in an 18 runner handicap across the Irish Sea. And, if not, which of the other 17 runners will win.
So no ITV7 from me this week - gives the other punters a chance :-)
1.50 San; Head Law @ 4/1 - 5 places
3.32 San; Kitty's Light @ 4/1 - 5 places & £5 free bet

5.15 San; Press Your Luck @ 7/2 - 4 places
Win singles, 20p L15, £1.50 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £18, 4 winners = £1,522.
1.30 Hay; Dream Together @ 5/1 - 5 places
2.05 Hay; Oo De Lally @ 12/1
4.20 Hay; Carey Street @ 9/2 - 4 places
4.56 Rip; Penguin Island @ 5/1 - 4 places
4 x £2 wins, 20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £24, 4 winners = £2,731.
Best of luck, all
