In function system there are two touch buttons, Disable + Force Stop. Both are pale and don't respond to touch.
Is it safe to use my phone for mobile banking with this malware in my phone?

I wouldn't. What is the phone Sandy? Android? Iphone? Model would be handy. Is that function part of the Excel suite of apps?

It's a relatively cheap Chinese phone. Aoyodkg the brand.

If the uninstall or delete boxes are greyed out it looks like the malware has got admin authority. You will nedd to cancel that admin authority before you can delete or uninstall the app.
You should find the means in ... Settings. Then look for Security or Security locations or something similar. Then look for Admin Apps or Device Admin Apps or again something similar. Then check a box that says Deactivate this Device Admin App.
It will be the App that has the infected syd function in it, maybe Excel I don't know, you didn't tell us which app was carrying the Function syd malware. Then go back into settings and delete the app.

If that is a non starter Sandy, or unsuccessful, then you may need to install a security app to shift it(if it lets you). I think that the best free one is probably Avast. You will find it in Google Play.

I`ve never heard of that make but being Chinese the virus probably comes pre-installed.

I think that virus started in Spain C@C, and is now hitting the rest of Europe including here. It apparently come in a text message that looks genuine, from any one of the major well known online retailers including supermarkets. The link supplied cripples the phone or tablet. Nasty.

What's the point of doing that Togo? What do they stand to gain?

They can skim your details, including identity details, bank and financial details and personel details for blackmail or impersonation scams from the device system. Usually when you use it. Some can even watch or listen to you through the microphone and camera.
